The bimetallic cable lug is designed for secure conductor termination between cable and equipment. This Bimetallic mechanical lug is widely used for insulated wire, aluminum wire, ACSR and copper wire applications.
The terminal body of the bimetallic cable lug is made of high-strength tinned aluminum alloy, and the inner surface of the conductor hole features a mesh concave design to improve conductivity. Double shear head bolts are manufactured from special aluminum alloy, treated with high-quality lubricants, and equipped with a special contact ring that cannot be removed once the bolt head is cut off.
The aluminum to copper lug structure allows effective connection between dissimilar metals, reducing corrosion and ensuring stable electrical performance. Special inserts can be inserted or removed to adjust the applicable conductor range. These inserts have longitudinal stripes and a positioning slot for accurate positioning.
This bimetallic cable lug model features a streamlined design suitable for different diameter connections. For example, three models can cover conductors from 25mm² to 240mm². The bi metallic lugs are suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications and can provide different bolt size specifications.
